<In a statement, the manufacturers said: “The safety of our consumers is paramount. Even though there have been no serious health consequences to any consumer, we will not take any risk regarding the quality or safety of our products
“Sabotage is suspected and we are working with the police on a formal investigation to find the person or persons responsible. Distribution of Nurofen Plus has been halted at this time.”
Yesterday the Daily Mail reported that animal activists could be behind the sabotage operation with the intention of damaging Reckitt Benckiser. It is thought the company may have been targeted because it tests products on animals – though not Nurofen Plus.

As a shareholder it does make you wonder on their quality control at the packing end - I would have thought it was all mechanised. Or perhaps its all a Guess as to what goes in what packet! Who knows?
Bearing in mind the integration of SSL and the London Rubber Co range of products I hope no people with the surname Monsieur LeBastard pronounced Bassard get in the packing department with a pin. It could have disasterous results not just on the share price!
