Thresher 40% off Thanks Millsee

Viccy Wine has the 2007 Porta Bio Bio Pinot Noir recced earlier @ Tesco.

£6.99 less 40% = £4.20 ish.

If you drink the likes of Hardy's Crest it is reduced to half of the spurious £8.99 to £4.49 and they will take another 40% off that. Dtto a Rioja Reserva I have never heard of.

Haddow's, their downmarket brand has some wine @ 2.49, and despite the voucher stating it was not valid @ Haddows, they will, it seems, accept it.

Now I do not suggest that many here would drink £2.49 wine, let alone add a little sugar and then serve it from a Chateauneuf bottle to unsuspecting guests (!) ; but at thirty bob it is probably the sort of wine the Fro.. sorry French, would use to marinade their Coq au Vin or Boeuf Bordelaise.

Does anyone know of any of the Thresher group wines worth stocking up on during this deal ? ( being aware of course that they normally give 33% off their headline prices when buying 2 for 3 anyway , presumably only drunks on their way to a party after chucking out time actually pay the full price for single bottles. )
