Thanks for the comments. These seemed to reflect the comments made on the article in the FT. What did surprise me, as one who had not been following the energy "evolution" so closely over the past couple of years, is that the subject of "peak oil" was only mentioned in one of the comments made in the FT. A couple of years ago, peak oil seemed to be accepted as an article of faith (except I think by Lord Brown of BP).
