Bucharest, May 23 /Rompres/ - The Tesco British group, the largest chain of supermarkets in Great Britain and a world's leader in Internet sales, will invest about USD 4 million in the creation of the first on-line Romanian supermarket, Capital magazine informs on Wednesday.Tesco also intends to invest almost USD 60 million in the Romanian sector of consumer goods by building at least 5 supermarkets in Bucharest and western Romania.David Reid, Tesco Vice-President for Central-Eastern Europe and Asia says that " studies conducted by British experts show that Romania has an extraordinary potential as regards the Internet".
