So, you wish to unilaterally change what the guidelines say and what we are asked to do, as members of this community? Your post is encouraging people to act outwith both the guidelines of the boards and the spirit of the community.

Not at all. The guidelines prescribe a set of principles to bear in mind when posting here.

The guidelines do not require and demand that we report every single post that may technically breach one of those guidelines. That is wisely left to the discretion of each Fool. That allows for a variety of reasons why one might see a technical transgression and yet decline to report the post.

The guidelines certainly allow someone to mindlessly report each and every post that could conceivably be deemed a violation, if such an approach really makes sense to that person and they have that much time on their hands. But the guidelines do not forbid your individual use of judgment and a sense of reasonableness and proportion to decide to overlook such things when your judgment and wisdom are telling you that is warranted. It would be a sad day if they ever did.
