So lets get this right - you lost your chequebook, cancelled it then tried to use a cheque from it, and its IFs fault they didn't pay?

And then complain that they tried to contact you but failed to send you something on your phone - did you determine what number, email address or IM account they were using to contact you to check that it isn't an old one from 2006 you no longer use?
