SirL,
repo,
Could you write down what figures you have in mind, so either you can laugh at us or we'll laugh at you in a few months time?
In answer to your question the US assets will probably fetch around a third of the figures you quote- that's $25m. If that price is to be achieved your timescale also looks a bit optimistic. We'll see, but I won't be losing money on this one by continuing to buy into the optimism of what BH,or AEX's brokers, said in the past.
I haven't looked at the values in detail, but I know that from personal experience that people who earn their living from scavenging low grade assets never like paying top dollar. The US is a tough place for Brits to do business. Far better business people than BH have lost their shirts there and my advice to you is to track back and see what AEX paid for the assets and then take something off. That might give you a better estimate. There again it might not.
T,
Congratulations on minimising your losses here. I'll not bore people here listing again all the basic mistakes that this fine management team made. Delusion and investment losses go hand in hand and the cheap recs that you gained for your post is testimony that there's one born every minute.
I'll leave you all to nurse your losses and your hopes and dreams that you won't get heavily diluted.
