By my calculations between 01/11/2011 and 30/01/2012 Soco bought 2,193,087 of its own shares all at prices under 300p. The average price was about 292p. Total paid was about £6,392,483.Since March 28th there have been many further opportunities to buy at under 300p. Does anyone know why they have not done so?If buying up shares at under 300p was a “good idea”, why are they not continuing with this exercise?Perhaps I have missed an announcement or previous company explanation of this?MT
