By my calculations between 01/11/2011 and 30/01/2012 Soco bought 2,193,087 of its own shares all at prices under 300p. The average price was about 292p. Total paid was about £6,392,483.

Since March 28th there have been many further opportunities to buy at under 300p. Does anyone know why they have not done so?

If buying up shares at under 300p was a “good idea”, why are they not continuing with this exercise?

Perhaps I have missed an announcement or previous company explanation of this?
