As a lead-up to the recent London Marathon 2016, there was mention of a fitness challenge of attempting to run a marathon during May by doing 0.85 miles a day. It was aimed at running beginners but nevertheless was tempting as we haven't been running for quite a while.

So, having just bought a running machine, I made a start and clocked up 2 miles today. So only 24.618 miles to go!

I don't seem able to find any reference to this Fitness Challenge on the internet.
