Sometimes you intend to LBYM, then something goes wrong, but it works out well anyway...

On Friday morning I made some sarnies to take with me on a long train journey so as to avoid buying expensive ones at the station.

On the bus into town, I realised they were still in the fridge, so ended up buying expensive station sarnies after all.

(At this point I briefly considered texting MrSplosh to tell him to have them when he got in. But realised that he goes to the fridge far more often than he thinks to turn on his mobile phone.)

Anyway, it turns out that he had been planning to get a take-away when I was away Friday night, but had my sarnies instead.

So my disorganisation probably actually saved the household about a fiver all told :-)
