Can somebody tell me why it takes a month for a rate cut to the put on the mortgage rate, yet a rate raise is processed considerably quicker.
Yes I can think of some very obvious reasons why, but I wanted to know how it was justified.
Bank MPC 4th August -.25%, IF 5th September -.25%.
