I wonder if I am alone or if anyone else will agree with me.... I actually don't want this company to be taken over or broken up. Yes, it's satisfying to see nice black numbers on the portfolio screen in terms of gain, but to me this is an exceptionally well run company with a very rare record of improving earnings and dividends.

I am not saying I have not done well from takeovers over the last four years - I have. But I now also want to protect the dwindling number of quality candidates in which I am happy to invest my hard earned cash!

I'd be more than happy for the bids to come to nothing and sit back and let management continue to grow the business as solidly as they have done in the past.

Yours

Larky
