Hi Loir.

Tried everything suggested so far, but it keeps putting me back to M.S.N homepage whenever windows automaticly downloads so called updates and it also says ALOT is not compatible on windows internet explorer whatever Alot is?

So you say: If you don't want IE9 then you can "Hide" that update.
You will not be asked about it again.

Any time you can restore "Hidden Updates".

I am sticking with IE8 for now. It does what I want.

So how do you do the above in laymans language?

Cheers.
