Thanks for your post - I actually don't disagree with what you say about the cultural barriers women have had to break down since the 1970s so that they can  access the same opportunities and make the same equal
choices as men.

For simplicity's sake, the broad point I was trying to make in my previous post is that if the current BB generation (who also hold the levers of power) insist on loading our under-25s with debt to pay for things that the BBs benefitted from at an equivalent age either for free (e.g. higher education) or at a lower cost (e.g. pensions) without a corresponding re-distribution of wealth to off-set some of the pain that our under-25s face thanks to the demographic fait-accompli they've been handed (e.g. higher taxes on pension income that BBs enjoy), then I do think this is unfair for our under-25s. 

The perception is that, whether knowingly or unwittingly, the BBs are continuing to choose to feather-their-nests at the expense of the wealth-creating opportunities of the young. I sense that you acknowledge this, but I'm not sure some of our BBs do.
