Hi APH Fools,

I have removed one post from this thread because of the insults aimed at an earlier poster. An abridged version of the removed post is given later in this post.

Why have I not removed other posts containing less than complimentary remarks? Because:
* the comments were not as vitriolic;
* there was some semblance of commentary on the company contained in them;
* it is time-consuming for me to do it;
* I'm really a liberally-minded chap and the idea of removing posts does not appeal to me;
* I can think of lots better things to do with my time.

But overriding all of this is the objective we are aiming for on the MF discussion boards of "civil discussion for mutual benefit". We know the vast majority of the Foolish Community is behind us in this. Two pointers for civil discussion in this context are:

* Comment on what other posters say, but avoid commenting on the person.

* Tell people what you have done and why, not what you want them to do, or stop doing.

The abridged version of the removed post by Maddogmurraythes is as follows:

My point is exactly what you have studied with such precision.

£2 million profit.

This is peanuts! What is all the fuss about? This company is valued at £157 million! £2 million!I know fruit and veg men that take home more than this!

Can we please draw a line under this episode now? If you feel like launching into someone then in a future post then I suggest you:

* take ten deep breaths;
* and on each exhalation say "I'm a Fool".

That usually does it!

;o)

Keith
