Hello Degsy

Are we entering a new era in terms of company dividend policies?

Maybe or maybe not, but I do think that we are witnessing a radical change in those who are doing the investing.

Over the last fifteen years or so we have seen the rise and rise of the ISA,the slow but sure rise of the method of investing used here, the HYP, the rise in the use of SIPPS etc. All aimed at the Individual. Add to that the continuing failure of the Pensions Industry to provide value to its customers, plus a couple of financial crises and Pension disasters. The rise in the ease of access to financial education for people who want to Invest themselves rather than pay large fees for someone else to do it for them.

To me the above signals a radical change is taking place, the monies that formerly went to support the Pensions Industry is now being diverted directly to the Private investor.

To sum up, I think The Revolution is beggining to Bite.
