Haig Club is a completely innocuous whisky-shaped object. IIRC it is pitched as an entry drink for people who don't normally like whisky. As you might imagine from the Beckham endorsement and its resemblance to a giant bottle of aftershave, it's primarily a lifestyle product. Had a sweet, cinder toffee-like character to me. Very smooth, no pungency. Wouldn't buy it myself, but I wouldn't turn one down if it was offered.

Have family up around Tain and Glenmorangie 10 was the first whisky I ever tasted. It's my reference point for single malt, thankfully looks like it'll be around for a while longer, with just the packaging changed.
