Except if your name is John Terry of course.

I have no admiration for Terry as a person, but I remain at a loss to understand why calling a black person "black" is racist, while calling them the words within which (in the well-documented case) "black" was sandwiched* would never have been questioned by the FA, let alone tried in a Court of Law, gross insult though they were.

What a crazy, confused, upside-down world we live in!

*I am not allowed to repeat the words on this board even with asterisks, at pain of having my post removed - which one was! - although they were all over even the quality newspapers last week, but I'm sure we are all aware of them.
