London, 10 March 2004: FTSE Group, the global index provider, confirms the results of the regular review of the UK All-Share Index series, approved today by the independent FTSE EMEA Regional Committee. Enterprise Inns will join the FTSE 100 Index for the first time and will replace Foreign and Colonial Investment Trust, which will move into the FTSE 250 Index. All the changes confirmed today will be applied at the close of business on Friday 19th March 2004.

Also going into the FTSE 250 Index are three companies from the FTSE SmallCap Index: Evolution Group, Northgate Information Solutions and Pendragon. Three newly eligible companies will also join the mid cap index: Alea Group Holdings (BERMUDA) Ld, HHG plc and Vedanta Resources.
