I’ve just had my distraught wife on the phone.

Apparently her and my 2 year old son were at the local play group, which they go to every Tuesday, and my son, who can be a bit “full on”, tried to cuddle this man’s baby.

The man, apparently picked my son up quite roughly and shouted at him, “Get away you little sh!t”, before my wife could get over and rescue him.

This obviously upset my son and my wife, who walked out of the toddler group and phoned me.

I asked my wife about the chap, she says that he is normally alright if not “a bit letchy”.

The problem is that he is a regular at this toddler group and also at swimming, which they go to on a Friday. My wife is now worried and is saying that she no longer wants to go.

I do not really want to have to go with her,
a. because of work and
b. if 17 stone of me turns up it may be seen as intimidating the situation

Do any Fools have any words of advice before I get home
