It was mentioned in a previous post which I can't cross refer to now as I can't find it or who the author was as I didn't pay much attention to it.

But after watching the match last night I realised how irritating Mark Lawrenson is as a commentator...

Here are some of his gems from the match....after Italy scored their second goal the camera panned to a pretty German girl with tears in her eyes. Lawrenson's fellow colleague says 'Poor girl' to which he replies you don't know she might be rich.

Then when Reus came on for Podolski - Lawrenson made a comment something like oh his first name is 'Rolls' - to which there was a pregnant pause by his co presenter.

I agree he needs to go, on reflection he ruined my evenings viewing as I was concentrating on what gob shite he would come out with next.

Note to: BBC MOD team....he has to go.
