I'm trying to remember how old C is - around three?? The mere fact that you are questioning what to do about this bodes well for her future, but please don't fall into the trap of being too pushy as she gets older.

She has two intelligent, well-educated parents (I think) and will develop her thinking about her role in life by example.

You will experience lots of occasions when her views don't tally with yours, but the trick is to avoid ranting and let her get on with it.

Carry on giving her quality time and she will grow into a daughter you will be proud of with the minimum of angst.
