Hi everyoneI tried a recipe the other day for tiramassu which said to whip single cream. After about 20 minutes of frantic beating using and electric whisk and doing it manually I couldn't get it to resemble whipped cream although it did thicken slightly.Can you whip single cream?
Nope, the fat contents too low.
Try sprinkling in some caster sugar, that can help.Hx
Try putting in lots of whipping cream - that will definately help

Whipping cream has the minimum fat content needed for cream to thicken when whipped.
