Hi everyone

I tried a recipe the other day for tiramassu which said to whip single cream. After about 20 minutes of frantic beating using and electric whisk and doing it manually I couldn't get it to resemble whipped cream although it did thicken slightly.

Can you whip single cream?

Try sprinkling in some caster sugar, that can help.
