Hi

a reasonably basic question (I hope) but having not bought a house before I don't know the answer

at what point would you start the process of surveys etc when one has an offer accepted on a house where the vendor has yet to find somewhere to buy? at the point when the offer is accepted or when the vendor actually commits to buying something themselves?

Cheers
Matt
