On a quiet reporting day, two fallen stars from the smaller end of the engineering sector, Bodycote International (LSE: BOY) and domnick hunter (LSE: DKH) (yes, they really do spell it with small letters), have announced interim results giving some cause for optimism. Both companies were considered to be high quality niche engineering businesses a few years ago but problems in manufacturing, caused largely by the strength of sterling and weak conditions in Europe, have caused their operating performances and share prices to suffer...
